What this site is about...

 ... to lower the cost of the average fish tank set up. It is possible. If you own a crayfish, pirahna, oscar, turtle, frog, guppy, or snail.   

P.s. I hope to make this a site we all can get something out of. Whether it be sympathy for the loss of a pet, the excitement of something new, the funniest story you ever heard, ( I have one, or Two), or a good 'ol pet play date?

 IN MEMORY OF OSCAR...

he died: January 18, 2006 about 10:00a.m.

This is Oscar, (the big 9" goldfish), and his best buddy Spot, (the small 6" koi), I saw this "picture moment" on the way out the door!!

I am drying my tears, because this photo is the bomb, of a great picture, of all time.

You can hand feed, throw feed, to birds, dogs, cats, and etc.

 But I have always hand fed MY pet fish. My husband didn't know that. We have hand fed our fish since the day we set up his and our tanks. Pictures on the, and more... page. I miss Oscar so much, and it has been hard for "spot". He is searching for his best friend. He swims around aimlessly. The other fish follow him, but NOT ONE fish will take Oscars place for "spot". 

 Mongo is taking it like a man, but deep down I know it is very hard for him. He loved Oscar, and he had to bury him. So, I know when I cry, I cry for the both of us.

This is my desk now, updated. I have been breeding guppies since before Christmas of 2005. I have it made. I have a heater on the floor to keep my feet warm, and three tanks. They are all guppies except for three apple snails in the ten gallon tank. My desk is located on a kitchen table in the kitchen. I can sit at my computer and play games like Fish Tycoon, though I don't have the money for the full version yet, and watch my guppies. I believe I have mastered only one part of breeding fish. The hard part is getting a perfect strain. That will come later when I have enough tanks for that process. Untill then, I am very happy with my three set ups. I mean, I HAVE THE BEST DESK IN THE WORLD!
